INDUSTRY, Calif. (July 18, 2014) — Aftermarket brake components and systems supplier Centric Parts has hired industry veteran Charlie Kirkland to the newly created position of director of sales for program groups, effective immediately.
Mr. Kirkland brings to Centric Parts more than 40 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, the company said, including 35-plus years of experience in brake component sales management and five years of experience in program group sales. According to his LinkedIn profile, he spent 32 years working as a regional manager for Brake Parts Inc.
In addition, Mr. Kirkland has served on the board of directors for the California Automotive Wholesalers Association (CAWA) and chairman of the Manufacturers Advisory Council for CAWA. Among his accomplishments, he received the President's Club Award six times while working for Brake Parts' Raybestos brand.
