MERRIMACK, N.H. (July 14, 2014) — Software systems provider ASA Automotive Systems Inc. is making available to shops using its TireMaster software access to the latest release of Epicor Software Corp.'s Integrated Service Estimator (ISE) software.
ISE has “enhanced capabilities to increase vehicle parts and service revenue and gross margin,” according to Merrimack-based ASA.
The Web-based Epicor ISE solution “enables users to quickly capture all of the parts and labor information needed to estimate and complete virtually any common automotive repair,” ASA said. “The software provides ‘one-click' access to the industry leading Epicor PartExpert database of more than 10 million parts, 7,800 manufacturer product lines and 27 million interchanges.
“The solution also provides seamless access to OE-recommended service intervals, an aftermarket flat-rate labor guide, repair jobs database, parts interchange and VIN decoder.”
Users also can quickly access parts availability and pricing information from local providers. All parts, labor and supplier pricing information is then automatically uploaded to estimates, work orders and invoices generated by ASA system users, the company added.
Other highlights of the new Epicor ISE system include:
• New ALLDATA Integration—Unique UI within Epicor ISE for navigating ALLDATA information.
• Custom or non-catalog parts pricing—Calculates the selling price for custom parts with the same calculation used for catalog parts.
• Supplier + Tab—Vendors with online shop/tool supply catalogs can now provide Epicor ISE users with access to these products in addition to the standard parts catalogs.
