Young joins Tire Factory as sales director

PORTLAND, Ore. (July 9, 2014) — Clint Young joined Tire Factory Inc.'s management team as director of sales, effective June 30.

Mr. Young has “extensive experience in sales management” after spending 18 years of his career with vehicle rental company Enterprise Fleet Management Inc., according to Tire Factory. The group added that Mr. Young spent his first week in the tire business in a Tire Factory member store earning his Tire Industry Association passenger/light truck tire certification.

John Kreidel, Tire Factory CEO, said the group is “excited to have Clint join our executive team. We have some aggressive growth plans for new stores, and we are very confident in Clint's ability to help existing Tire Factory independent dealers grow profitably.”

Mr. Young said he looks forward “to partnering with our members and our sales team to grow the business. The bigger we get, the better the programs we can offer our member owners.”

Portland-based Tire Factory is a member-owned independent tire dealer group whose members operate more than 200 retail locations serving 15 western states. The company, which recently marked its 30th anniversary, said it has sales “in excess of $300 million,” and serves its members from three regional distribution centers in Portland, Denver and Salt Lake City.
