MADISON, Tenn. (July 7, 2014) — Marangoni Tread North America Inc. has agreed to market “TreadWare,” a software program designed to track tires through the retreading process, to independent retreaders throughout North America.
“Simply put, TreadWare is designed by retreaders, for retreaders, to simplify, streamline, and increase the efficiency of your retread manufacturing process,” said Clayton Van Kleeck, the developer of the product. Mr. Van Kleeck is part of the Van Kleeck family who operates Van Kleeck's Tire in Lake Katrine, N.Y., including a Marangoni Ringtread retread plant in Hudson, N.Y. , that does business as Smith's Commercial Tire Service.
TreadWare was designed and developed to address the unique needs of retreaders, Marangoni said, and can be installed and adapted to most current shop hardware easily. It does not rely on an Internet connection for functionality and offers an intuitive design allows for speedy interaction.
“Our goal was to make the best simple-to-use software program to serve independent retreaders,” Mr. Van Kleeck said.
Features include: low set up costs, personalized reports, fast work order entry, user-friendly screen design, ability to integrate many hand-held smart devices and customizable tire labeling.
The TreadWare Retread Software System fits those criteria and is available to all retreaders in North America, according to Marangoni Tread, which said this product differs from others in the market for its affordability and adaptability.
“Software that reflects the process rather than forcing the process into a program can be a stand-alone operation and/or be integrated with most accounting and POS systems' simple, basic and generic hardware requirements,” Marangoni said.
This is the second product-line expansion for Marangoni Tread North America in recent weeks. The Madison-based subsidiary of Italy's Marangoni S.p.A. recently became the North American distributor of the “Easy Stacker” and “Easy Gripper” hydraulic tire-handling equipment—both developed by Just Easy Tools A.p.S. of Holsteberg, Denmark.
