BOWIE, Md. (July 3, 2014) — The Tire Industry Association's (TIA) Farm Tire Service (FTS) program, released last year, has won a Telly Award in the Safety category.
This is TIA's second Telly for 2013, the association said, with its Winter Tire Replacement video recognized in the online Safety category. This the fifth Telly for TIA, with the trade group's Earthmover Tire Service (ETS) Program winning in 2009 and the Commercial Tire Service (CTS) Program winning two awards in 2010.
The Telly Awards honor outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films.
TIA said more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 21 countries were entered in the competition.
Other 2013 winners included 121 Fortune 500 companies, 272 non-profit organizations and 75 worldwide media brands, such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, the American Heart Association, Sports Illustrated, The Weather Channel, Time Life and the Chicago Tribune.
