MEXICO CITY (June 13, 2014) —Vipal Rubber Corp.'s Vipal Mexico team is gearing up for the World Cup soccer championship by creating a social media campaign.
One of Vipal Mexico's ideas for the World Cup was to give its Facebook followers Brazucas, the official World Cup ball. To participate, Vipal Mexico said people had to “like” the Vipal Mexico Facebook page, share it using the company's APP and reach 100 “likes.”
The company is also giving its followers official football jerseys from Brazil and Mexico. To win, fans must participate in daily trivia that is posted on the Vipal Mexico Facebook page. Those who provide the correct answers are also entered in a competition for invitations to the Vipal festivities on June 17 for the Brazil vs. Mexico game.
Vipal Mexico said the events will take place in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey.
In three months the Vipal Mexico promotional campaigns have already garnered 2,580 likes on the company page, Vipal said.
