BOWIE, Md. (June 5, 2014) —The Tire Industry Association has released “Tire Safety Starts with Inspection,” the latest video in its “Tire Safety Starts with…” series.
TIA released the video June 4.
“Tire Safety Starts with Inspection” covers the regular inspection procedures motorists should follow to check their tires for sufficient tread depth and irregular wear, TIA said.
The video also includes animation that explains pinch shock, which causes a bulge to appear on a tire sidewall after hitting a pothole, curb or road hazard, according to the association.
The video is available on YouTube or on TIA's website, www.tireindustry.org.
