FINDLAY, Ohio (June 3, 2014) — American Tire Distributors Inc.'s (ATD) Hercules Tires subsidiary will send one of its dealers on a Las Vegas trip through a summer sweepstakes tied to the upcoming “Hercules” movie.
In partnership with Paramount Pictures Corp., the tire distributor has launched the Hercules Tires Legendary Summer Sweepstakes in anticipation of the July 25 release of Paramount and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures' movie “Hercules,” starring Dwayne Johnson.
The sweepstakes, exclusively for Hercules Tires dealers, runs through July 25 and will be supported with a co-branded promotional campaign including digital and trade journal advertising.
Winners will be chosen at random on July 29. One grand prize winner and a guest will receive a weekend trip to Las Vegas that includes tickets to a major mixed martial arts event, three nights at Caesar's Palace and $1,000 cash. Other prizes include Hercules Tires Power Outlet gift cards and Hercules Tires merchandise.
“We are very excited about this promotion. It gives our dealers an extra push for summer sales and a chance to win what promises to be a memorable Vegas vacation. We want our dealers to have fun with this,” said Joshua Simpson, Hercules Tires' vice president of marketing.
Hercules Tires also will be launching the consumer-focused Hercules Tires Warrior Weekend Sweepstakes that features a Las Vegas weekend and other prizes, such as sets of Hercules tires and gas cards. The consumer sweepstakes, which runs June 18-Aug. 8, will be featured on point-of-sale materials — a counter card, tire insert, and window cling — available to Hercules Tires dealers.
There is no purchase necessary to enter. Participation in the Hercules Tires Legendary Summer Sweepstakes is limited to majority owners of any tire dealership that previously purchased Hercules brand tires for resale between Dec. 1, 2013 and May 31, 2014 or any ATD Tire Pro dealer or ATD HRD Program dealer.
