NEW YORK (May 30, 2014) — Replacement parts supplier Standard Motor Products Inc. (SMP) has added 503 part numbers to its Intermotor line of import parts.
The Intermotor line expansion features more than 220 new switches, including multi-function, combination, windshield wiper, steering wheel audio control, fog lamp, cruise control and others, covering more than 46 million addition vehicles in operation, the firm said.
In addition, SMP said it has added more than 180 Intermotor sensors, including 100-plus ABS speed sensors, covering another 23 million vehicles in operation. The company also expanded its clone-able tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), brake master cylinder fluid level, turbocharger boost, transmission input and output and vehicle speed sensor offerings.
Other key category expansions include ignition starter switches, ignition lock cylinders, fuel pressure regulators, PCV valves and relays, SMP said.
