The new Wilson County Tire & Retreading plant in Lebanon, Tenn., will offer Marangoni's Ringtread system.

MADISON, Tenn. (May 28, 2014) — Bob Majewski, owner of Sumerel Tire Service in Newport, Ky., is expanding the dealership's operation to include the middle Tennessee market area and adding a Marangoni Tread North America Inc. retread facility in Lebanon, Tenn.

The new stand-alone plant, Wilson County Tire & Retreading, brings to Middle Tennessee and the Nashville market the Marangoni Ringtread system, according to Marangoni. It will offer fleets new tires and retreading as well as a mounted wheel program, drive-up and pick-up-and-delivery services.

A Marangoni Tread spokesman said he was “not aware of any additions” to Sumerel Tire's line of products at its other locations.

“We will bring our experience in remanufactured tires, attention to detail, high quality service and the great attention we pay to our customer's needs that will further increase our customers experience with this great product,” Mr. Majewski said in a Marangoni press release.

Rick Majewksi, an industry veteran with years of retreading, fleet and service knowledge, has been hired to run the operation, Bob Majewksi said.

“We at Marangoni Tread North America are very pleased to welcome Wilson County Tire & Retreading to our dealer network,” said Bill Sweatman, Marangoni Tread's president and CEO.

“Bob and Rick Majewski bring a tremendous amount of knowledge, experience, high quality products and customer service that will serve this market well.”
