GAINESVILLE, Va. (May 12, 2014) — The Hybrid Shop (THS), an international network of hybrid-electric vehicle service providers, has been selected as a finalist in the 2014 American Business Awards.
THS is a finalist in the New Product or Service of the Year — Consumer Services category, and ultimately will take home a gold, silver or bronze Stevie Award.
THS has only one other company in this category — doxo of Seattle, with its doxo Mobile App.
Since launching in 2013, THS has built an international dealer network dedicated to providing environmentally friendly, cost-saving hybrid-vehicle battery-conditioning service. The company has developed a way to restore an underperforming hybrid battery pack to as much as 95 percent of its original power and energy.
“We're extremely honored by this recognition,” said THS CEO Matt Curry. “To be selected as a finalist in the New Product or Service of the Year – Consumer Services category in our inaugural year demonstrates how THS has solidified and dominated a market need.”
In addition to its battery conditioning service, THS can diagnose, repair and maintain all electrical systems on a hybrid vehicle along with traditional vehicle systems.
The Stevie Awards were created in 2002 to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide.
There are six Stevie Awards programs, each with its own focus, list of categories and schedule.
The American Business Awards are open to all organizations operating in the U.S.A., and feature a wide variety of categories to recognize achievement in every facet of the workplace. Sponsors include many leading B2B marketers, publishers and government institutions.
