MOKENA, Ill. (April 16, 2014) — Attendees and exhibitors for the 2014 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) can now make hotel accommodations using the event's website,
AAPEX is set for Tuesday, Nov. 4 through Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas. The event is jointly sponsored by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA).
The associations said many Las Vegas hotels offer special room rates when reservations are made by the hotels' early bird deadline. Show promoters recommended when making reservations, attendees and exhibitors use Travel Planners, the only official housing company associated with the 2014 AAPEX, “to get the lowest rates at the best hotels in the best locations.”
Reservations can be made via the AAPEX website. Travel Planners offers lowest rate assurance, no booking or service fees, exclusive hotel perks, and more, according to the AAIA and AASA, which noted that while other hotel resellers may contact attendees and exhibitors offering housing for AAPEX, they are not endorsed by or affiliated with AAPEX.
Housing questions can be directed to Travel Planners from 9 a.m.-7 p.m., EST Monday through Friday at 800-221-3531 (U.S.) or 212-532-1660, or by email at [email protected].
Attendees and exhibitors planning to take AAPEXedu sessions should make their hotel accommodations accordingly as sessions will begin on Monday, Nov. 3 — a day before the official start of AAPEX — and run through Nov. 6.
Show promoters said AAPEX 2014 is expected to feature more than 2,400 exhibitors, 5,000 booths and 39,000 targeted buyers. More than 130,000 automotive aftermarket professionals from nearly 125 countries are projected to be in Las Vegas during AAPEX, which runs concurrently with the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) trade show in Las Vegas.
More information also is available on the AAPEX website or via email at [email protected].
