(April 14, 2014) — At the 2014 New England Tire & Service Association’s annual meeting, Shawn McKenzie, director of business development for New England at Carroll Tire Co., spoke with Tire Business reporter Jennifer Karpus about how he doesn't think Facebook is fading, but is just starting.

Mr. McKenzie spoke about how Facebook has many tools for small business and the best thing a business can do is to find brand advocates. He said for most people, the biggest mistake on Facebook is focusing on getting more likes and forgetting to engage on the platform.

Mr. McKenzie joined Carroll Tire, a wholesale unit of TBC Corp., in March.
