Andretti mingles with Va. Tire customers

ASHBURN. Va. (April 14, 2014) — Racing legend and Firestone brand spokesman Mario Andretti greeted customers April 3 at Virginia Tire & Auto's newest retail outlet, in Ashburn, a community of about 43,500 located between Reston and Leesburg, Va., northwest of Washington D.C.

Mr. Andretti visited with fans and signed autographs during the store's customer appreciation event. Visitors also were treated to free food, music and giveaways.

Mr. Andretti has won titles in Formula 1, IndyCar and dirt track and won some of racing's biggest events, including the Indy 500, Daytona 500 and three Sebring 12-hour endurance races.

At the end of the event, Mr. Andretti exiting the dealership in his orange Lamborghini, which he drove from his home in Pennsylvania, according to the dealership.

Virginia Tire operates a dozen stores in northern Virginia and recently broke ground on No. 13.
