MADISON, Ind. (April 11, 2014) — Rotary Lift, a Vehicle Service Group brand, has redesigned its website to showcase more videos, images and product information to improve the user experience.

The new homepage features a rotating slideshow of the company's vehicle lifts in action, highlighting the wide variety of products available, according to the company. Links below the slideshow enable users to quickly find car lifts, truck lifts and a distributor contact page. A customer installation gallery includes images of Rotary Lift Mach series mobile column lifts, SmartLift inground lifts and other Rotary Lift products working in real-world garages.

The Madison-based equipment maker said videos are a prominent feature of the new site, with the homepage including a featured video that is updated regularly. It also contains customer testimonial videos on the new video library page, which also organizes Rotary Lift's product spotlight videos into a central location.

“The new site features a very clean design, but we have still managed to fit more visuals and information on its pages than before,” said David Fischmer, marketing manager for Rotary Lift parent company Vehicle Service Group (VSG). “That's because the product pages are better organized and easier to navigate.

“Our customers should be able to efficiently find everything they need, but if they don't, we have included links to the Rotary Lift live chat helpline throughout.”

When browsing for a lift, users can sort by lifting capacity and lift type, so they only see what they need. Each product page also lists a model's capacity, features, ALI certification status and specifications. Links to related products and auxiliary materials—such as brochures or warranty information—also are included to provide an in-depth look at the lift.

Users can download from the website Rotary Lift's updated Lift Buyer's Guide, which the company said “provides helpful information about things to compare when selecting a lift, including quality, testing, certification and manufacturer support.”

Rotary Lift said its in-house marketing team handled the website redesign. The new site also contains links to the company's Facebook, Twitter, and Vimeo pages.

VSG comprises nine major vehicle lifting and collision repair brands: Rotary Lift; Chief Automotive Technologies; Forward Lift; Direct-Lift; Hanmecson; Revolution Lift; Elektron; Blitz; and nogra.
