OXFORD, N.C. (April 4, 2014) — Dill Air Controls Products L.L.C. has developed a preset torque tool designed specifically for installing the hex nuts on valve stems of tire pressure monitoring units (TPMS), thereby eliminating the need to adjust a torque wrench before and after installation.
Dill offering preset TPMS torque tool

Dill's 8200 Master TPMS Toolkit includes all the components to service most sensors and service kits on the road today, according to the company.
Oxford-based Dill Air Controls said using preset torque tools “will save the technician time and minimize the chance of an error during the installation process.”
The company is offering its Dill TPMS Torque Tools in two packages: Dill 4065, with two preset Torque Tools, is a stand-alone kit for shops that already have a basic TPMS installation toolkit; and Master TPMS Toolkit (8200) that includes all the components to service most sensors and service kits on the road today.
“Listening to our customers daily is where new ideas originate,” said Mike Newton, Dill's TPMS program manager. “We heard you asking for an easier way to install sensors and service kits, and…we have designed something you are really going to like.”
Dill Air Controls offers a range of TPMS, valve stem, air gauge and inflation devices, many of which it makes in the U.S.
