COLUMBUS, Ohio (April 2, 2014) — American Kenda Rubber Industrial Co. Ltd. has added a dozen 16-, 17- and 18-inch rim diameter sizes to its VezdaEco low-rolling resistance tire line and Kenetica passenger line.
The new sizes in the VezdaEco range are 215/55R16 93H; 215/55R18 95H; 205/50R16 87V; 235/55R18 100V; 225/45R18 95W; 225/55R18 98H; 235/55R17 99V; 225/55R17 99V; 245/50R18 100V; and 225/40R18 92H, according to Kenda.
The new Kenetica sizes are 235/65R16 103T and 235/65R18 106H.
“The demand for the VezdaEco has taken off recently,” said Eric Yang, automotive marketing manager, “and we believe the new sizes will continue the momentum with our customers.
“…The expanded size range will not only add to the coverage in the alternative fuel vehicle market, but cover several new OE models.”
Kenda said it plans to launch several more SKUs this year in both passenger and light truck tires.
