Myers Tire Supply held a vendor fair March 21 in Cincinnati, inviting its entire sales force of more than 160 representatives, along with a number of other employees, to learn more about the equipment and shop tools Myers offers.

51 of Myers’ partner suppliers had the opportunity to showcase products during the event. One of those suppliers, Cincinnati’s Apex Supply Chain Technologies, introduced its “MTS Xpress” vending machine and locker, which was developed to serve as an automated parts management system for service shops.

Jamie Untersinger, business development specialist, fleet and vehicle maintenance for Apex, told Tire Business the system is available now through Myers and allows users to track high-use shop tools as well as for-sale items.
