HOLBROOK, Ariz. (March 24, 2014) — TravelCenters of America L.L.C., has opened a newly built TA Truck Service facility in Holbrook, its fifth center in Arizona and 249th nationwide.
The location, at Exit 283 on I-40, offers four service bays and operates around-the-clock, according to Westlake, Ohio-based TravelCenters, operator of TA and Petro Stopping Centers.
The outlet — as do all the company's locations — employs trained Automotive Service Excellence- (ASE) and Tire Industry Association-certified (TIA) technicians. The truck stops specialize in light duty repair, brakes, electrical, alignment, air conditioning, preventive maintenance, inspections and RoadSquad emergency road call services.
TA added that all of its service centers now carry full lines of Bridgestone-, Michelin-, Goodyear-, Continental- and Samson-brand tires.
“We continue to add truck service facilities at our locations in order to provide a more complete full-service offering across our network,” said TA President and CEO Tom O'Brien.
“TA Holbrook takes the number of TA and Petro Truck Service facilities on I-40 in Arizona to three, and positions a service center on a long span of highway where there previously were none.”
Mr. O'Brien added that the firm's latest Arizona truck stop “will increase the number of RoadSquad emergency roadside service trucks staffed and available for our customers to help keep them rolling.”
Later this year, according to TA, the Holbrook facility plans to offer Freightliner ServicePoint, an authorized express service and light-duty repair program available exclusively at TA and Petro truck service centers in cooperation with Daimler Trucks North America. The company called it a key referral point for Freightliner emergency and roadside repairs.
TA said the Holbrook facility has been built to include generator power in case of an electrical outage and also offers drivers waiting for maintenance work an outdoor patio and seating area, as well as other amenities.
