VELBERT, Germany (March 21, 2014) — Tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) manufacturer Huf Hülsbeck & Fürst G.m.b.H. & Co. K.G. is notifying customers that its “IntelliSens” universal sensor is supported by the latest diagnosis tools from Bartec USA L.L.C. and ATEQ Corp.
Huf said the latest updates run by the tool manufacturers come right in time for tire changing this spring season.
“Huf ‘IntelliSens' universal sensors are tire-pressure sensors which are especially designed for the needs of tire and repair shops,” said John Stratton, aftermarket sales manager at Huf North America.
“IntelliSens universal sensors are capable of replacing the majority of original equipment (OE) sensors. They are quick and easy to install and help to reduce stocking levels in tire and repair shops.”
“Intellisens” is a configurable universal sensor, according to Huf, that comes with a multitude of protocols and parameters pre-installed. The system features of Bartec and ATEQ tools have been extended and adapted to be compatible with the specific demands of IntelliSens.
Repair and service shops in the U.S. rely on more than 95,000 diagnosis tools from ATEQ (VT55 and VT56), Bartec Tech (400SD, 500SD), NAPA (92-1531) and Snap-On (TPMS3 SMP T55001), the companies said.
