ANDREWS, Texas (March 18, 2014) — Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores has opened a new type of travel stop in Andrews,.
The new location, located on U.S. Highway 385 at 1201 S. Main Street, opened for business March 13. The company said it is the first of its kind for Love's, featuring an efficient design that “allows the company to expand beyond interstates to major highways across the nation.”
The outlet does not include a Love's Truck Tire Care center.
The travel stop offers 48 truck parking spaces, a McDonald's restaurant, gourmet coffee, name-brand snacks, merchandise and more.
Bulk DEF will be available at the pump at all diesel lanes, along with RFID cardless fueling technology, CAT scales, five showers and other amenities for professional drivers, according to the truck stop chain.
“Andrews is an ideal place to introduce the new concept,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love's “Our loyal customers operate all over the country and they've indicated gaps in driver services an amenities exist beyond the interstate system. The introduction of this new model allows Love's to offer the ‘Clean Places, Friendly Faces' Love's is known for to more hard-working drivers on the nation's highways.”
For a limited time, professional drivers can earn up to five points with their “My Love Rewards” loyalty cards at all Love's locations, the Oklahoma City-based firm said.
