MILAN, Italy (March 6, 2014) — Pirelli & C. S.p.A. will be the title sponsor for Formula 1 Grand Prix races in Spain and Hungary this year, a distinction that is part of the tire maker's three-year contract extension as F1's exclusive tire supplier.

These two rounds of the 2014 F1 season will be called the Formula 1 Gran Premio de Espana Pirelli (May 8-11) at Circuit de Barcelona and the Formula 1 Pirelli Magyar Nagydij (July 24-27) at the Hungaroring outside of Budapest.
Costs associated with the sponsorship are part of Pirelli's tire supply contract.
The tire maker said the sponsorship deals “underline Pirelli's commitment to Formula 1, under the current supply contract that runs through to 2016.”
