Dick Cepek to sponsor Bassmaster series event

STOW, Ohio (Feb. 19, 2014) — Dick Cepek Tires & Wheels will be the title sponsor of the 2014 Bassmaster Elite Series season opener, March 13-16, at Lake Seminole in Bainbridge, Ga.

"Dick Cepek was a true outdoorsman," said Ken Warner, vice president of marketing for Dick Cepek Tires. "He was an adventurer, and he developed tire and wheel products that could conquer any terrain he and his friends encountered.

"The Bassmaster Elite Series shares that same spirit, and we're looking forward to being a part of it."

The series includes eight regular season events and a newly formed Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year Championship competition that draws about 108 anglers.

Attendance continues to grow with a 25-percent increase in 2013, according to the tire company.

The title sponsorship agreement also gives Dick Cepek a presence at the fourth event of the Elite season, May 1-4, at Toledo Bend Reservoir in Many, La., where the company will exhibit at the Bassmaster Elite Series Expo.
