MIAMI (Feb. 11, 2014) — A new service covering Miami-Dade and Broward counties in Florida is offering 24/7 emergency auto battery replacement.
BATTERIES 911 said the first of its kind service dispatches technicians to a stranded motorist's location to remove and recycle an old battery and install a new one.
“We are offering a one-of-a kind reliable service that we believe is needed in the market,” said Andres Angel, BATTERIES 911 founder. “Why spend an excessive amount of money on a towing company or waste time trying to find the nearest auto repair shop when we can come to you.
“We offer high-quality car batteries made in the USA for the same price you would pay elsewhere, allowing customers to get back on the road in a short amount of time after receiving reliable service from our qualified technicians.”
The Miami-based company is offering a “50/50 guarantee,” ensuring a technician will arrive within 50 minutes of a motorist's call or the person will receive 50 percent off of the auto battery replacement service. BATTERIES 911 said it stocks premium-quality, maintenance-free car batteries for all make and models. Pricing, it added, “is competitive and includes installation at your location for the same price of a new battery alone at a retail store or car maintenance facility.”
The firm said it recycles motorists' old batteries at no extra cost, with up to 97 percent of each battery recycled at an Environmental Protection Agency-certified plant where components such as lead, plastic and electrolyte are separated and refined for use in the production of new batteries.
The company also is offering a no-cost recycling service where it will pick up area residents' old car or marine batteries.
