HANNOVER, Germany (Feb. 10, 2014) — ContiTech Power Transmission Group has redesigned the sticker it supplies to service shops to record timing belt changes, improving adhesion and better protecting writing.
The sticker is now capable of adhering even in the engine compartment, ContiTech said, and is made out of a high-quality foil material, which the company said protects printing from moisture, soiling and premature fading.
In addition to the kilometer or mileage reading and timing belt date change, the new sticker also allows technicians to indicate which other components were replaced with check marks.
