CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. (Feb. 5, 2014) — Aftermarket brake components and systems maker Centric Parts has added 100,000 square feet of warehouse and office space adjacent to its existing City of Industry facility.
The company said the investment expands Centric's warehousing in Industry to 470,000 square feet—and to a combined 650,000 square feet among its three Southern California facilities.
“As our product range continues to grow and we continue to add new applications for every product line we offer, we have decided to add another building to our City of Industry facility,” said Dan Lelchuk, Centric's president.
“This new warehouse allows us to house an even larger inventory of parts so we may continue providing the highest fill rate in the industry—and it provides the additional space required for our upcoming product line expansion.”
The new space expands Centric's City of Industry campus, which handles sales and customer service along with shipping and receiving of finished goods within several adjacent structures. The company, founded in 2000, markets products under the Centric, Posi Quiet, C-Tek and StopTech brands of aftermarket brake components and systems for passenger vehicles, light- and medium-duty trucks and high performance and racing vehicles.
Besides the City of Industry location, Centric's other facilities in Southern California are responsible for research and development, engineering, manufacturing, cataloging and assembly duties. The company employs more than 500 workers.
