LAS VEGAS (Jan. 24, 2014) — The WD-40/SEMA Cares 2012 Foose Ford Super Duty F-350 raised $200,000 last week at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The vehicle, unveiled at the 2012 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, was purchased by Bill Barker of Fort Worth, Texas. SEMA said all proceeds raised from the truck's auction benefit the association's “SEMA Cares” charities and scholarship programs.
“I've been blessed,” Mr. Barker told SEMA. “For me, it wasn't just about the truck; it was for charity and it was something I felt I needed to do.”
