CYPRESS, Calif. (Jan. 21, 2014) — Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. extended its partnership with the National Hockey League's Anaheim Ducks and its home arena, Honda Center.

Toyo Tire said it first provided “home ice” support during the 2007 NHL playoffs when the Ducks captured the Stanley Cup in the final. The new agreement grows the partnership to include year-round elements such as a static sign on the arena marquee next to the 57 freeway in Anaheim, Calif. Toyo Tires will also be seen inside Honda Center as the logo rotates on two LED rings before and after all events, the tire maker said, and on signage around the concourse and on dasherboards around the ice. Fans at Honda Center also will have the chance to win a “Toyo Seat Upgrade” at each home game.

“We are proud to support the Anaheim Ducks in their quest for the 2014 Stanley Cup and are excited about the new elements of our partnership that put Toyo Tires in the arena all year long,” said Amy Coleman, senior director of marketing for Toyo Tire.

“Our ‘Driven to Perform' mantra is reflected in the drive and determination of the Ducks players as well as the other world-class athletes and artists who visit Honda Center.”

One of the team's two Zambonis is fully wrapped with the Toyo Tires logo, Toyo said, and both vehicles rely on Toyo M-55TM light truck tires when they roll out to groom the ice.
