MIDLAND, Mich. (Jan. 16, 2014) — The Center for Tire & Service Education (CTSE) is seeking corporate sponsorship for students of Tire Leadership 21, a new business education program for independent tire dealers in North America.
Announced in December 2013, Tire Leadership 21 is a collaboration between Midland-based Northwood University and the CTSE, a coalition of leading independent tire dealers interested in training the next generation of tire dealership managers and owners.
Tire Leadership 21 will cover a wide range of business, management and leadership topics critical to tire dealers, including finance, accounting, business strategy, management, corporate vision, leadership, operations, industry trends, marketing and social media, team and corporate culture, the customer experience, critical thinking and problem resolution, the CTSE said.
Tire Leadership 21 is limited to 30 participants and consists of two week-long sessions, according to the CTSE. Session I is scheduled for April 14-18 at the Northwood campus in Midland, and Session II for Sept. 7-12 at the Northwood campus in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Tuition for the course is $5,995 per student, and the CTSE is looking for corporate sponsors that can offset the portion of that fee, it said.
Interested donors should call Brian Cruickshank, director of Tire Leadership 21, at 989-430-7774.
