My tool truck guy keeps pushing this tool that sharpens drill bits. Does it work?
"Anything that's going to save you time and money is going to cost a little upfront. And that includes the drill bit reconditioner that your tool rep has been promoting. I have one in my box and it has saved me time. And, you know what they say: time is money! If you use drill bits in your line of work, it's a good, long-term investment!"
How can the tool truck give away so much "free" stuff?
"I assume you are talking about the 'buy this, get that' promotions that tool distributors like to showboat on the front cover of their weekly flyer. Usually, when you have an item coupled by another 'freebie' it's because they married two slow-seller items. If you can use both objects that are highlighted, go for it! If not, save your money for another tool deal."
