TROY, Mich. (Dec. 18, 2013) — Ride Control L.L.C. has hired automotive industry veteran Curt Huston to be general manager of its Gabriel brand of shocks, struts and ride control products.
Mr. Huston has more than 25 years of automotive and aftermarket industry experience through stints with Continental Structural Plastics, Hayes-Lemmerz, Allied Signal (Honeywell) and Azure Dynamics.
“We welcome Curt's experience as he leads Gabriel in its strategic and aggressive growth plan,” said George Ruhl, president of MAT Holdings Inc., Ride Control's parent company.
“In his role as general manager, he will be responsible for the Gabriel product portfolio, including engineering, manufacturing, sales and distribution. Gabriel has become an important business for MAT Holdings since it was acquired in Dec. 10, 2012.”
Ride Control is a manufacturer of OE and aftermarket ride control products for the consumer, commercial, industrial and RV vehicle segments.
