TULSA, Okla. (Dec. 17, 2013) — Goodyear has added a Commercial Tire & Service Center (CTSC) in Tulsa, its third commercial center in Oklahoma and 174th nationwide.
The 13,000-sq.-ft. outlet is located in Tulsa's eastern outskirts near the I-44 and I-244 junction, Akron-based Goodyear said.
The new location, which follows the opening of a CTSC location in June in Oklahoma City, reaffirms Goodyear's commitment to the state, according to Paul Wanstreet, president of Goodyear CTSC.
“The state-of-the-art Tulsa facility enables us to effectively serve trucking operations of all sizes and configurations, whether their trucks are based in Oklahoma or are passing through the region,” Mr. Wanstreet said.
The openings also follow the severing of ties earlier this year with longtime Goodyear truck tire dealer T&W Tire Inc. of Oklahoma City, which switched its primary tire brands and retreading system to Michelin Truck Tires.
The new location offers products including new Goodyear-, Dunlop- and Kelly-brand medium truck tires and Goodyear-brand retreaded truck tires. Services include truck alignments, tire repair and other tire-related services and 24/7 emergency roadside assistance.
