STAUNTON, Va. (Dec. 13, 2013) — Aftermarket parts distributor Federated Auto Parts donated $145,000 to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, but that was not the end of its 2013 campaign.
Federated said many of its members are collecting contributions and toys at their store locations for Toys for Tots while others are conducting contests.
“Our members have made the Toys for Tots campaign a year-round priority and we want to thank them for their efforts and generosity on behalf of Toys for Tots,” said Federated's Mike Schultz.
“From conducting contests and special promotions to collecting toys and making monetary contributions, our members and their customers have made it a priority to make the holiday season a little better for those less fortunate.”
