LAS VEGAS (Dec. 4, 2013) — Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket earned an Automotive Communications Awards citation for excellence during the recent Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas for its instructional videos developed to support the unit's VDO Redi-Sensor TPMS Sensor program.
The Automotive Communications Awards program, sponsored by the Car Care Council Women's Board and Automotive Communication Council, highlights outstanding advertising, marketing and public relations activities on behalf of aftermarket organizations, the Continental A.G. unit said.
The instructional videos feature Steve Landis, VDO Redi-Sensor TPMS product manager, discussing various steps for TPMS replacement and re-learn procedures for a variety of different vehicle manufacturers and models. The videos appear in sections of a 10-video series on the VDO Redi-Sensor YouTube page and have received thousands of views in the short amount of time since their release, Conti said.
The videos, developed by Barolin & Spencer Marketing Communications, were in competition with more than 250 entries and were judged the “Best In Class” award for the Business-to-Business Category.
