SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (Dec. 4, 2013) — Tom Marx, president and CEO of Marx Group, will present "Marketing Metrics That Matter" at the 2013 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show.
As a former professional race driver in IMSA and other sanctioning bodies, Mr. Marx turned to marketing as a business strategist. At the show he will discuss with participants how small businesses can benefit from tracking and understanding sales, marketing, public relations and social media data.
His seminar will be from 8 to 9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. There is no charge to attend.
Show promoters said Mr. Marx uses "proven techniques to help business owners establish benchmarks and goals, as well as determine how to adjust their marketing focus and investment in order to best accomplish those goals." As part of his presentation, Mr. Marx will challenge show attendees "to become students of the most important measurement factors that can make or break their company's marketing efforts."
He is the co-author of "Marketing Sucks (and Sales, Too!)," writes a marketing e-newsletter, regularly speaks on marketing topics at industry events and is an active member of trade associations including SEMA, AAIA, AASA, ACC, APRA, CAWA and HDMA.
