Hercules celebrates 30+ year partnerships

LAS VEGAS (Nov. 21, 2013) — Hercules Tire & Rubber Co. celebrated decades-long relationships with five customers during this year's Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas.

Hercules said it honored the companies at a meeting that brought all customers in Hercules' "HD Division" together for a product and state-of-the-business update.

Long-time partners of Hercules Tire that were recognized are:

• Bowen Tire in Owensboro, Ky. (40 years)
• Walker Tire & Auto Service of Omaha, Neb. (35 years)
• Walker Tire & Auto Service of Lincoln, Neb. (35 years)
• Hercules Tire Sales Inc. of Tulsa, Okla./Shamrock Tire & Auto Service of Wichita, Neb. (30 years)
• Franken Tire Center/A/B Tire in Las Vegas, N.M. (30 years)

"It's a privilege to call these great companies our customers. Being in business together for such great lengths of time really says something special about these customers and about Hercules," said Jedd Emans, vice president of sales for Hercules Tire.

"We feel honored that our companies have enjoyed such enduring partnerships."

Gregg Sicka, vice president of Hercules Tire Sales/Shamrock Tire, said Hercules has been his company's No. 1 supplier since starting the business.

He added, "They've been an integral part of our success and our growth and we look forward to continuing the partnership well into the future."

Hercules said it distributes the Hercules brand through more than 30 independent wholesalers across the U.S.—include 13 that have been partners of Hercules for 30 years or more — as well as through company-owned distribution.
