TOKYO (Nov. 15, 2013) — The Japanese Formula 3 Association has extended its tire supply contract with Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. (YRC) for the All-Japan F3 Championship for three more years.
Yokohama, which provides competitors with Advan racing tires in sizes 200/50VR13 and 240/45VR13 front and rear, has been the series' tire supplier since 2011.
YRC supplies Advan 005 for dry conditions and Advan for wet conditions; both are engineered with Yokohama's proprietary orange oil compounding technology.
Yokohama also supplies race tires to the German F3 Championship Series and the annual all-star Macao Grand Prix, run annually on public roads through the Chinese port city of Macao. This year's race on Nov. 9-10 marked the 31st consecutive year of YRC's participation in that event.

It also supplies a number of junior formula races, such as Japan's Super FJ and the United Kingdom's BRDC F4 Championship series, as part of the company's efforts to support a "robust" formula racing world.
YRC also is the sole race tire supplier for the FIA World Touring Car Championship and GT ASIA,
The All-Japan F3 Championship series has been in existence since 1979.
