The 7,020-sq.-ft. location includes nine service bays and a showroom housing a customer waiting area and products from major tire brands and custom wheels, according to the Cape Girardeau-based dealership.
The service bays are equipped with machinery to handle tire and automobile services, Plaza Tire said, such as tire installations and repairs, brakes, shocks, struts, oil changes, alignments, computer balancing, batteries, transmission services, power steering and coolant flushes.
The new location marks the seventh Plaza Tire store in St. Charles County, which the company has been serving since 1998.
Plaza Tire Service was established in 1963 by Vernon Pee Wee Rhodes. Its first location opened in Cape Girardeau as Plaza Car Wash, a hand-operated car wash. The dealership still operates a store there.
