PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (Oct. 22, 2013) — TBC Corp. has hired Brant Wilson, a vice president with H&R Block Inc., to be senior vice president of its Franchise Group, overseeing development of TBC's Midas, SpeeDee and Big O brands.
Mr. Wilson brings to the job more than 15 years of experience in retail and franchise development, including the successful execution of large, multi-store performance, TBC said.
Mr. Wilson will report to CEO Larry Day and COO Erik Olsen. Bill Ketchem, vice president of franchise development for the past 18 months, will report to Mr. Wilson.
"As TBC's family of brands continues to grow, we are excited to welcome Brant into this newly developed role," Mr. Day said. "He is a leader whose skills and expertise will lead market share growth while maintaining our strategic business direction."
Mr. Olsen said Mr. Wilson said one of Mr. Wilson's primary focus areas will be increasing the franchisee base of Big O, Midas and SpeeDee.
Mr. Wilson spent the past eight years with H&R Block, most recently as vice president of acquisitions and franchise development. Prior to his time with H&R Block, Mr. Wilson was with Sprint Corp. and ASAP Automation Inc. He began his career as a commissioned officer with the U.S. Army.
