DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2013) — A Wisconsin bill covering collector vehicles and historic military vehicles is one step from becoming law.
The Washington, D.C., staff of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) reported that the legislation allows minor modifications to collector vehicles, exempts former military vehicles, historic military vehicles and collector vehicles from importer certification label requirements, and expands rights for historic military vehicle owners.
The bill was recently passed by the full Wisconsin Assembly, has already been approved by the Senate and is now on its way to Gov. Scott Walker for his signature and enactment into law.
More information is available on the SEMA Action Network (SAN) website.
