WEYMOUTH, Mass. (Oct. 10, 2013) — Sullivan Tire & Auto Service opened a store in Weymouth on Oct. 7, its second location in that city, 36th in Massachusetts and 67th in its New England marketing area.
Sullivan Tire said the 6,750-sq.-ft. building formerly was a Midas Total Car Care store and was completely renovated before opening. It houses eight service bays and will be staffed by up to 12 full-time employees, including two master technicians.
Sean Galiano, a master technician and 23-year veteran of Sullivan Tire, is the manager of the store. Sullivan Tire said Mr. Galiano resides in Weymouth with his wife and son, where they are active members of the community. Mr. Galiano serves on the Weymouth High School Advisory Committee and his son is a Weymouth Wildcat football player.
"I'm thrilled to take on this new role and to work in the community where my family lives," said Mr. Galiano.
"Sullivan Tire is a family-owned business whose motto is to treat every customer as if they were a member of your family. For me, it will be especially rewarding to serve the family of Weymouth and to see so many familiar faces on a day to day basis."
Sullivan Tire will hold a grand-opening celebration on Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Customers are invited to visit the store, enjoy refreshments and giveaways, and enter to win Boston Bruins tickets and a hockey stick signed by Bruins defenseman Gregory Campbell. There will also be special discounts on tires.
