SINGAPORE (Oct. 10, 2013) — International tire distributor Omni United Pte. Ltd. is rolling out its limited edition "Ring of Hope" pink sidewall Radar RPX 900 tire for a second year, in support of its "Mobilizing Hope" campaign to support breast cancer research.
Omni United said the limited edition tire is available online through tires-easy.com, at Sears Auto Centers, Omni's new Radar Distribution Center and other select retailers throughout the country. The tire's pink sidewall is emblematic of breast cancer awareness movement.
The "Ring of Hope" tire was launched in 2011, Omni United said, to support the 'Mobilizing Hope' partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Omni has pledged to donate $5 to the BCRF for every Radar tire sold with a minimum annual donation of $200,000. The pink side wall tire is Radar's first product specifically designed to support the campaign.
Omni United said the Radar RPX 900 is an all-season, eco-friendly tire that features an asymmetrical tread design, and targets mid- to high-performance vehicles. It is available in sizes 195/60R15 and 205/55R16.
Omni United has pledged to donate $5 per Radar tire sold in the coming months going directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, with a maximum donation of $250,000.
