GARDENA, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2013) — Tireco Inc. has updated its sales management team for the eastern United States, promoting Ken Thornton to eastern regional sales director and adding three tire industry veterans, Ron Brady, Jeff Anderson and Wayne Hazen.
In his new role, Mr. Thornton will oversee the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Great Lakes and Southeast territories for Tireco. Mr. Thornton is a 30-year veteran of the industry and had previously served as Tireco's Southeastern territory manager.
Mr. Brady, Tireco's regional territory manager for the Mid-Atlantic area, previously worked for Free Service Tire Co. as its vice president of wholesale operations, Tireco said. Prior to managing Free Service, he served as a regional account manager at Goodyear.
Mr. Anderson, who was previously a regional sales manager and key client manager for Kumho Tire Co. Inc., has joined Tireco as its corporate accounts manager. Prior to working for Kumho, Mr. Anderson served as a territory manager for Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., Tireco said.
Mr. Hazen, Tireco's new territory manager for the Southeast region, joined the company after serving as vice president of sales for Barron's Wholesale Tire. Previously he had served as a territory manager for Cooper Tire.
