DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Oct. 10, 2013) — The Specialty Equipment Market Association's (SEMA) Wheel & Tire Council (WTC) will hold its 2013 general membership meeting from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, prior to the opening of this year's SEMA Show.
John Waraniak, SEMA's vice president of vehicle technology, will discuss WTC's collaboration with Clemson University's International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) on a research project. He will update members on the progress of J3010 certification.
Wayne Williams, president of Exsell Marketing Inc., will speak on the importance of customer engagement.
The meeting will take place in meeting room N252.
Following the meeting, council members are invited to attend a workshop in the Vehicle Technology Center in the LVCC's Grand Lobby, where WTC Chair Joe Schaefer will give a progress report about the joint WTC / CU-ICAR research project on the effect of wheel and tire variation on the vehicle dynamics of the 2013 Ford F-150.
