WAKEFIELD, Mass. (Oct. 10, 2013) — Alliance Tire Group (ATG) CEO, Yogesh Mahansaria, a life-long veteran of the off-highway tire market, is featured on the cover of the Oct. 4 issue of Forbes India magazine.

"We're extremely excited to see Yogesh on the cover of Forbes India," said Manny Cicero, president of Alliance Tire Americas Inc.

"It's a great honor for him and a validation for those of us who have played a part in the growth of his second successful company."

He said Mr. Mahansaria is "an inspiration to those of us who have encountered setbacks in life and yet lived to fight another day."

Alliance Tire said the Forbes piece chronicles the path of Mr. Mahansaria's ascendancy to global CEO, beginning with his first rise through the ranks as he helped his family's struggling scooter tire business grow to become a major player in the off-highway tire market.

The feature continues through to the present, where it noted his second global company, ATG, sits on the precipice of a new era of growth and market dominance in partnership with private equity giant Kohlberg Kravis Roberts.

"It's been an exciting journey getting from there to here," said Mr. Cicero, who joined as president of Alliance Tire Americas in 2007.

He added, "and it's not over yet. With our strong brands, our global distribution, our low cost manufacturing and with KKR at our side, we are strongly positioned to become one of the top three global off-highway tire manufacturers in the world in the next four to five years."
