LONDON (Oct. 10, 2013) — Apollo Tyres Ltd. has selected Brooklyn Brothers to be its global creative agency, tasked with helping build the Apollo brand globally using print, electronic and digital media.

The agency's London office will service the account, which it won after a multi-agency pitch process, Apollo said.

Marco Paracciani, chief marketing officer for Apollo, said the tire maker selected Brookly Brothers because it wanted an agency that "not only understands the automotive business, but is also in a position to work closely with us on this new phase of growth…."

Among Brooklyn Brothers' existing clients are the Land Rover and Jaguar car brands.

One of the agency's first tasks will be to find ways to leverage Apollo's three-year partnership deal with Manchester United Football Club in the United Kingdom and India.

Mr. Paracciani further explained that Apollo picked Brookly Brothers because of the agency's methodology—exemplified by its "Invite, Activate, Amplify" credo—along with its community-focused approach on the tire maker's association with Manchester United.

Brooklyn Brothers will liaise with Apollo Tyres through its recently opened Global Marketing Office in London, which is responsible for global product strategy, marketing communications and product mix management, Apollo said.

George Bryant, planning partner for Brooklyn Brothers, called Apollo Tyres a "highly ambitious company which continues to set new benchmarks in this dynamic global industry.

"Together, we share a great passion for football and the value of 'people power,' and we're really looking forward to working with Apollo Tyres and help them reach out to Manchester United's 46 million followers in the U.K. and India."

Brooklyn Brothers opened 2001 and has offices in New York, London, Los Angeles, Shanghai and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
