The Brooks Group's new Big O outlet in Grand Junction, Colo., recently celebrated a grand opening.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (Oct. 4, 2013) — Big O Tires franchise owners Kevin and Valerie Brooks have opened a Big O outlet in Grand Junction, their third in that city and ninth in Colorado.

The husband-and-wife team has been a Big O Tires franchisee since 1990. They have been among the franchise group's top performers multiple times.

The newest store, a renovated former Goodyear company retail store, is on the west side of Grand Junction, a community of about 60,000 on Colorado's Western Slope. The store showcases state-of-the-art equipment and a large showroom to serve their customers' tire and auto service needs, Big O Tires owner TBC Corp. said.

Kevin Brooks and his wife Valerie recently opened their ninth Big O outlet and their third in Grand Junction, Colo.

"We truly enjoy serving the Grand Junction community and are excited to open another convenient location for our tire and auto service customers," Mr. Brooks said. "It is essential to maintain your vehicle, especially in this part of the country, and we have a knowledgeable, friendly, and expert team to keep you on the road."

The Brooks Group's other stores are in Avon, Basalt, Delta, Frisco, Glenwood Springs and Montrose — all which are in what is known as Colorado's Western Slope, west of Denver.

Mr. Brooks bought his first Big O stores in 1990 after being an accountant for a Big O dealer/franchisee in the area for a few years before that, according to a Q-and-A posted on the Big O franchise recruitment site.

"The Brookses' commitment to outstanding customer service is their number-one priority, and it is what makes their group one of the most admired in our organization," said Kevin Kormondy, executive vice president and COO of Big O Tires L.L.C.

"They truly embrace the 'Team You Trust' culture and extend it to each and every customer, each and every day."

The Brookses received Big O Tires' "Point of Light" award—given to the individual who embodies the spirit of Big O Tires with commitment, values and dedication—in 2012.
