DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Oct. 2, 2013) — The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) will host a one-day Online Marketing Conference, dedicated to helping auto-related businesses with social media and online marketing.
The conference will take place Nov. 4 in Las Vegas prior to the start of this year's SEMA Show.
SEMA said the conference, scheduled for the Las Vegas Hotel (formerly Las Vegas Hilton), in ballrooms A-G, will include workshops and lectures from leading industry experts.
"Social media and online marketing can be powerful business tools," said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of events and communications.
"Yet these tools are fast-paced and constantly changing. The SEMA Show Online Marketing Conference gives business professionals the most up-to-date information in a format designed to meet the industry's unique needs."
Mr. MacGillivray said the timing of the conference is "convenient for participants" to come a day earlier to the show so attendees can "roll in their travel costs and get more out of the trip."
The program will run 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and will include three keynote addresses:
- Survival of the Fitts! Navigating (& Dominating) the Great 2013 Online Marketing Buzz Kill, Powered by ETTN, presented by Marty Weintraub of aimCLEAR;
- Twitter, presented by Doug Mooney of Automotive Twitter; and
- Hidden Secrets of Amazon, Powered by ETTN, presented by Bryan Eisenbert of BryanEisenberg.com.
SEMA said there are a variety of sessions available throughout the day. The sessions are grouped into two tracks to make it easy for participants to determine which is most appropriate for them: a Fundamentals Track or an Intermediate Track.
