ARI names director of OEM sales

MILWAUKEE (Oct. 2, 2013) — Software, website and data solutions provider ARI Network Services Inc. has named David Valentine director of OEM sales.

ARI said Mr. Valentine will be responsible for all of ARI's sales activities for manufacturers in the automotive, tire and wheel, powersports, outdoor power equipment, marine, RV and white goods industries.

"I first met David when he was national sales manager for PowerSports Network, one of ARI's competitors in the powersports marketplace. I was immediately impressed by his professionalism and in-depth knowledge of the unique needs of dealers in the industry," said Roy W. Olivier, ARI's president and CEO.

He said Mr. Valentine brings an "extensive industry expertise and a stellar track record of success" to the company, with more than "a decade of experience working with dealers, distributors and OEMs in our vertical markets…"

Mr. Valentine most recently served as vice president of sales for gFAXX, an online business intelligence source focused on the construction and agriculture industries, ARI said. Prior to joining gFAXX, Mr. Valentine was the national sales manager for PowerSports Network and RV Web Services. He earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin—Stevens Point.

ARI also operates 50 Below, a software solutions provider for independent automotive tire and wheel dealerships.
