HOLLY, Mich. — Automotive chemical solutions manufacturer Bar's Products has released its Rislone-brand Octane Booster, which it said is a cost-effective solution for treating spark knock and pinging in a variety of engines.
Rislone Octane Booster increases fuel octane by 20 points, or two rating numbers, Bar's said, making it a perfect choice for customers with classic muscle cars, street racers, off-road trucks and other high-performance vehicles. One six-ounce bottle of the product treats up to 20 gallons of fuel.
When poured directly into the fuel system, Octane Booster's street legal formula stops engine hesitation, knocking and pinging, while restoring lost horsepower and performance, the company said. The additive contains the highest concentration of MMT octane improver legal for street use, and it is full compatible with unleaded gasoline, E10, E85, flex fuels and racing fuels.
"Spark knock can cause significant damage inside an engine's cylinders," said Clay Parks, vice president of development for Rislone. "Octane Booster should eliminate knocking immediately and allow and engine to run at optimum spark timing. For long-term protection and performance benefits, encourage your customers to add one bottle of Octane Booster during each fill-up."
Octane Booster is part of the Rislone line of super-concentrated fuel additives, Bar's said. It comes packaged in the company's patent-pending EZ Nozzle bottle, which is designed to allow for easy installation in any vehicle, including those with modern capless fuel systems.
The product is manufactured in the U.S. and is available to distributors in display case packs of 12. For more information, call 800-521-7475 or visit the Rislone website.
